About the Koye Foundation

Koye Foundation is a privately funded, family-led humanitarian initiative dedicated to serving children, families, and communities experiencing poverty, illness, displacement, conflict, and limited access to essential resources.

Our journey of service began in January 2013 through volunteer work with organizations such as SOME and Sarah’s Charity. Since then, our founder, family, volunteers, and community partners have supported charitable efforts in the United States, Thailand, Colombia, Venezuela, Gabon, and Iraq.

Our work has included food distributions, medical and essential supplies, clean-water projects, educational support, community development, youth activities, and assistance for families facing difficult circumstances.

We have also supported organizations and initiatives including Atix Fundación, Walk with a Doc, the Rowan University Foundation, Michigan State University, and West Des Moines Human Services.

Today, Koye Foundation provides a home for documenting this journey, recognizing the people who make the work possible, and encouraging others to serve their communities.

Our purpose is simple: to turn compassion into action and bring practical help and hope wherever we can.
